Snacking is a big thing for my family. I remember when I was little, we used to always go to my house for drinks and snacks because my mom always had something for us. Call it a product of growing up like that or whatever, but I feel the same way. With littles running around and their friends coming over all the time, I’ve got to have some snacks on hand at all times.
Unfortunately, most of the snacks for kids (and adults) aren’t really all the healthy and I don’t really like feeding my children tons of junk snacks all the time especially when we eat pretty healthy regular meals.
Luckily, apple chips are a big hit with my daughter. She will eat a whole bag of these babies in one sitting without blinking an eye. To her defense, so will I.
I love apple chips. They’re crispy, delicious, and the prefect healthy snack. It’s no wonder I didn’t try and make them at home before instead of spending a fortune on them at the grocery store. They are ridiculously easy to make and you can add just about any “topping” to create your own unique flavors.
So go ahead and give them a try!
