How to Make this Recipe

Now, let’s dive into the fun part—making this scrumptious dish!

In your trusty slow cooker, toss in the ground turkey and minced garlic. Cover it up and let it dance on low heat for 2 hours. That’s your prep time to play with the kids!

Next, throw in the diced onion, bell pepper, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Give it a gentle stir, breaking the turkey apart. Cover it back up and let it groove for another 2 hours on low.

Stir in the cooked rice, rice vinegar, and that delightful sesame oil. Pop the lid back on and let everything mingle for an additional 20 minutes—just enough time for your taste buds to get excited!

Cooking Tips & Tricks

Now, let me share some nuggets of wisdom. Don’t rush the turkey—it loves a slow dance.

And speaking of love, if you want to up the spice factor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.

You can even make this gluten-free by using tamari sauce instead of soy sauce. Oh, and if you’re feeling fancy, toss in some chopped water chestnuts for extra crunch.
