Try this funky twist on your morning coffee, made with butter and coconut oil instead of cream.
I may have completely missed the mark on this one… but that goes without saying. I'm usually late to things anyway.
And here we go with the attempt at pouring shots again. This time I was smart and immediately enlisted the help of my 8-year-old. Though it looks like she might be just as bad as I am.
Yep… all over.
Oh well, you can't win them all. Or even any of them.
I have been seeing and hearing a lot about the “bulletproof” coffee. It's all over my Facebook feed, Twitter feed, and everywhere else. So I looked it up. Butter and coconut oil in your coffee? No creamer, no sugar, just butter and coconut oil. Uh… who thought that was a good idea? I really does not sound appealing at all. I like my coffee either black or with a small amount of milk or cream but I decided to give it a whirl anyway.
I was surprised. It actually tasted like it had cream in it and it was smooth. Not too shabby for butter and coconut oil. Though I don't think I will be making this everyday, it can't be all that good for you, and I made a huge mess in my kitchen attempting it.
Note to self: don't use a single serve blender when trying to do this. The cover will shoot off and coffee will go EVERYWHERE!
That was fun to clean up. Not.
