Beautiful protein smoothie made with blackberries and pecans.
Protein smoothies are one of my favorite things, if you can't tell by the number of smoothie recipes. Right up there with breakfast as my favorite meal, or snack depending on the ingredients, of the day. They are quick, easy, and a no-brainier for when you have a short amount of time to get ready in the morning and get out the door.
Or just when you don't really feel like making a regular meal whenever. Truthfully, I make protein smoothies every day, if not twice a day. With little ones running around… yes, my 10 months old is walking now but that's a whole different story… it's just easier. Did I mention that already?
Just throw all the ingredients into a blender and BAM, instant meal. If you love blackberries and pecans, this smoothie will quickly become one of your favorites.
