How do you photograph a dressing?

I was really at a loss when photographing this. Usually I set a table and take a bunch of different photos at different angles, but a dressing?

How many ways can you really take a photo of it trying to make it look different?

So I took 2. One on the counter and one on the floor. Haha!

Side Note: I found a dress for my event!

If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, you can read about it here.

I was super stoked to find one that soon. I thought I would have to go to a million and 1 stores to find a dress but I ended up just going to 4.

It’s gorgeous and not black, though I’m wearing it to a black tie event. It’s navy blue and is the perfect length and everything.

Unfortunately, it’s one size too big because it was the last dress on the clearance rack so I’m going to have to take it in a little bit, but not too big of a deal.

I didn’t want to give it up just because it was a tiny bit too big, it’s too perfect and gorgeous.

Yay! Ok, back to the dressing.

Homemade Ranch Dressing

It’s a dressing. The best ranch dressing I have ever tasted, I might add.

I’ve never really thought to make dressing by hand until I made a few vinaigrettes a few months back when I was doing the Ultimate Reset cleanse. (I’ll be sharing all those recipes, too)

Ever since then, I have mostly been making my own and this time I decided to make buttermilk ranch.

It turned out perfect and will definitely be a staple in my fridge from now on.
