As you guys may know… smoothies are my jam. I absolutely love them and I love trying out all different flavor combinations. Hence the reason that the smoothie category is currently the largest..
I'm sure that will change eventually but for now I absolutely love coming up with and trying new smoothie flavors. Some turn out and some not so much and of course the failures don't make it to the blog. They usually end up down the drain. haha.
Fortunately this minty melon smoothie was a big win and is so refreshing after a hard workout or just a quick snack on a hot day. Though I tend to drink my smoothies year round… but whatever your preference, of course.
This smoothie is delicious with a hint of minty flavor and sweet honeydew melon and honey and a kick of protein from the greek yogurt. Go make yourself a glass now!
Minty Melon Smoothie
- 1 1/2 cups honeydew melon
- 2/3 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 10 large fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup ice
- Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
