Strawberry Lemonade Beer

Happy April everyone! I am officially on spring break with the family and I couldn’t be happier!

We actually took a real vacation this year instead of just doing a stay-cation, because well, frankly, this momma needed some time away from home.

And it was also nice that the hubby’s work schedule allowed him to take time off at the same time as the school did.

Strawberry Lemonade Beer

So here we are in sunny Florida visiting my family. A far cry from the still cold, snowed a couple weeks ago, Michigan. Why Michigan, must your winter last into spring?!

I digress…

This post might be short and sweet because that gorgeous Florida sunshine is calling my name and I am ready to go out to the dock and enjoy it and the gorgeous water today.

Along with a few of these Strawberry Lemonade Beers. Yes, these will be happening on vacation. How could they not?

Strawberry Lemonade Beer

Coming up with new and different cocktail recipes have been my thing lately ever since I discovered I can make sangria without royally screwing it up. So it seemed only fitting to try and make a beer “shandy” type of cocktail since spring is here and summer is right around the corner.

Plus, I love beer. So it’s a win-win-win.

So grab some of that summer lemonade, add a little sugar, some strawberries and your favorite pale ale beer and make some of these! Then enjoy your spring break… wherever and whenever it may be!
