Happy May, friends! We’re back with another installment of Fashion Finds for you… aka: everything I bought this month. Haha.
Now that I’m officially D.O.N.E. having kids, I’m getting more excited to get my pre-babies body back and start fitting into my old clothes again. All the clothes that I haven’t been able to fit into since before I had my second child.
Man… having kids so close together is rough on your body. I know it’s going to take some time to get back to where I want to be but I’m also anxious to just start feeling like myself again.
I was just recently released to workout again and I’ve started my workout routine with the 21 Day Fix. After I complete a round of that I’m going to do the 21 Day Fix Extreme and then the 80 Day Obsession.
I’ve done both 21 Day Fix and Fix Extreme before but since I just had a baby I can’t just jump into 80 Day Obsession without having some kind of foundation first. I’ve also seen so many of my Facebook friends getting such great results from the 80 Day Obsession, I’m super excited to try it.
Anyway, let’s get to it! Here’s all the new things I’ve added to my closet this past month.
Summer is coming and the temps are warming up and I’ve been wanting to add a new maxi dress to my rotation for a while. I saw this on Amazon recently and purchased it right away and it did not disappoint! It has pockets, people. Pockets. Plus, it’s super soft, flattering, and flows perfectly. I’m 5’6″ and it just hits the ground on me with flats… if I were to wear wedges it would be too short.
The hubby and I have a trip to Vegas planned next month with a couple friends. When I went shopping for a couple cute new tops to wear I found this at Old Navy and instantly bought it. It’s perfectly flowy but has a great cut so it hides what it’s supposed to hide but without being super baggy.
After finding and falling in love with the pants from TJ Maxx, I bought a second pair when I bought the boho top above. They are so comfy and the perfect lounge pants, traveling pants, or just quick run out of the house for errands or quick dinner pants.
On a different shopping trip for Vegas next month, I found these at TJ Maxx and snatched them up instantly. I thought they would be prefect for flying on the plane and staying super comfy. I think I’m just going to pair them with a plain black t-shirt and some flip flops.
Literally none of my shorts that I have fit me currently so I had to buy some new ones. With summer rapidly approaching it’s a necessity. I found these cuties when out shopping with my oldest daughter and they were buy 1 get 2 free so I couldn’t say no. They have a great stretch and just the right amount of deconstruction to make them cute. Plus, they’re a midi short, so they’re a little longer and cover my whole bum.
Yes, I bought the same short in 3 different sizes for when I lose weight.
Aerie Macramé Scoop Bikini
Like I said above, the hubby and I are going to Vegas in just a couple weeks so I needed a couple new bathing suits for while I’m there. No, I’m not even close to where I want to be physically but I don’t really care because this suit was so cute I couldn’t say no. Plus, it was on sale buy the top and get the bottoms for $1. Uh, yeah!
Xhilaration Macramé Bralette Bikini
I snatched this beauty suit up whim on a random trip to Target recently. That particular trip I was actually really good and only stuck to the list, until I saw this while walking to the checkout line. I didn’t even try it on until I got home but I fell in love instantly.
In the case that I’m not feeling like wearing a bikini while in Vegas, I got this new one-piece in case. One-piece suits are actually coming back into style anyway so I know that I will get tons of use out of this even after I get back to my goal weight.
You can’t get a new bathing suit without getting a new coverup. And, actually, I didn’t even have a cover up before… I used to just wear a too big sundress when I went to the beach or pool. Obviously it was time to upgrade and I’m so happy I found this beauty.
