Chicken Pesto Pizza

Chicken Pesto Pizza


  • 1 pizza dough
  • 1/3 cup basil pesto
  • 1 cup boneless, skinless chicken breast cooked and shredded
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 450° F and allow to heat for full 30 minutes or more. Grease baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. If using a pizza stone (like me) just dust with a little flour to prevent sticking.

  2. Roll out dough and stipple top to prevent bubbling; place onto baking sheet or baking stone.

  3. Begin topping pizza by spreading pesto all over dough leaving 2/3 - 3/4 (or more depending on taste) inch for crust.
  4. Evenly spread shredded chicken over pesto, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake at 450° F for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let cool in pan for 5-10 minutes, then slice and serve immediately.
