Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli

Forget take-out.. make your own beef and broccoli at home that tastes 100x better and is much better for you!

Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli

  • 2 lbs boneless beef chuck roast thinly sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 Tbsp corn starch
  • 2 heads broccoli cut into florets


  • In slow cooker, add sliced beef and begin cooking on low.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and garlic. Pour over beef in slow cooker and toss to coat.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before the end of cooking, whisk together 1/4 cup water and cornstarch in a small bowl. Pour over beef and toss to coat, then add broccoli and stir together. Cover and cook on high for additional 30 minutes.
  • Serve immediately over bed of rice.
