Sparkling Orange Margarita

Hello Weekend! I’m currently sitting on the floor of our new vacation rental home overwhelmed with the amount of work we have to do in the next 5 days to get this place ready to rent!

I feel like we have gotten a lot accomplished already but there is also still so much more to do and boxes everywhere in the basement.

We’ll get through it. Thankfully these sparkling orange margaritas will give me some liquid motivation to get things done. Haha!

Sparkling Orange Margarita

Yes, my sister and I always bring tequila to the house when were here so these margaritas will definitely be making an appearance.

Start by adding your tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave nectar to a cocktail shaker and fill about half-way full of fresh ice.

Cover and shake vigorously for 30 seconds to incorporate and chill the drink. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice and top with sparkling orange soda.

Sparkling Orange Margarita

Garnish with an orange wedge and a sprig of mint, if desired. I usually always add mint or something green just to add a little more color.

This would also be a great drink to mix for a party. Just increase to the number of servings and pour everything into a large pitcher and stir together. Slice some oranges for garnish and leave next to the pitcher.

Cheers! Time to get back to work building furniture and updating the house.
